New Surry Theatre Presents

Swashbuckling Swordfighting Workshop

with Angela Bonacasa

Grab a sword and fight like a pirate!

Using techniques seen in movies like Zorro, Pirates of the Carribean, The Princess Bride, and other films, we’ll learn cuts, thrusts, parries, and other piratical moves.

With a special focus on safety, we’ll explore the elements that make swordplay such an exciting part of film and theatre. By the end of class, you'll be swashing and buckling like a pro!

The Swashbuckling Swordfighting Workshop meets Wednesdays, starting September 15th, from 6:30 to 8:30
